So I'm incredibly late on posting, but here I am, finally getting around to it. Mark and Scott and I had a very fun and lazy Christmas holiday. We spent Christmas Eve and morning here at our own house, being very boring and lazy but that's what Mark and I love to do. We are terrible with gifts. Mark had one of his gifts, a zip up sweater, in October and I gave him his other gift, booties for biking, over Thanksgiving. I went and bought my gifts from Mark to me at the beginning of December and have been wearing them, he gave me a few shirts and boots. The thing is that we buy things we need or have really been wanting, and then put the Christmas tag on it and then when something small and dumb comes around to buy for Christmas we don't buy it because we already bought it. It helped us to save money this year. We're terrible though, I know. We didn't get Scott too many things either because he's only 3 months old and we knew that our families would buy him stuff. And they did, he got spoiled. Anyway, Mark got a gift from his brother and it came a few days before and it was just sitting under the tree. Mark really wanted to open it but I forced him not to. So come Christmas Eve, I was kinda jealous that Mark was going to get an actual Christmas surprise and I wasn't. So Mark and Scott and I got all bundled up at about 6:30 pm on Christmas Eve and went to Walmart for Mark to buy me a surprise. I told him he could buy me anything he wanted and it didn't have to cost very much, I just want a surprise. He had a hard time but he got me something and we got out just before it closed at 8:00. We thought we would get ourselves some dinner too, to celebrate the season. Did you know all the fast food places closed early on Christmas Eve too? We drove all over Salt Lake trying to find something and the only places open were the really nice and expensive places. We finally found Little Caesars right before it closed at 9:00. Now, looking back, it was really fun. So when we got home Mark told me that my present was really meant to be opened and enjoyed that night. I figured it would be a surprise, just an early one. He wrapped them himself.
That's right, he got me 3 bags of chip and double stuffed oreos, wrapped ever so cutely in our scarves, gloves and hats. He's so funny, I love that man. He thought that if I got mine early, I would let him open his present early from his brother, don't worry Ryan, I didn't fall for it. He opened it on Christmas morning, while I was stuffing my face with oreos. He loves his watch by the way.

Christmas day hangin out with babies and sisters. Luke, April and Jaren came out and it was so fun having them home for the holiday.

Before Christmas we had my family over for Mark's yummy soup then off to the lights. Here we are starting to get bundled up.

Mark and Scott and I at Temple Square. So fun, so beautiful, so cold. Scott loved the lights though.
