New Years

 Every January first my sister Kate and I go to the movies.  We started this tradition when I was 16 and we went to see "You've Got Mail".  We loved it.  But after we saw it we realized that I still had enough money for us to see another so we stayed and watched "Prince of Egypt".  After that we started going every year on this day.  We started out doing double features and we eventually started going to Jordan Commons Theater which is our favorite place because it has great seating in almost any seat, you get to choose your seat when you buy your tickets, AND there are a bunch of restaurant in side that you can bring your food inside the theater and eat while you watch.  Eventually we realized that saving money might be better then two movies so we have cut back to one, well and there just aren't as many good movies out this time of year like there used to be.  This year we saw "How do you know".  It was a cute movie and so great to watch with my favorite movie buddy.  We also got to go shopping where I finally found my Christmas present which is the gray coat you can see the top of in the pic below.  We also got K her Birthday present which is on January seventh.

My Katie Lady turned 21 this year and what a year.  She has been through a lot this year.  I am so proud of her for all the she has accomplished.  She is one of my hero's in life.  She has worked so hard to get where she is now.  I don't think I could ever tell her in this life time all the ways that I love her and all the ways she has blessed my life.  If I could choose to be anyone in the world I would be her in looks, in spirit, in mind, in everything.  I love you K, Happy Birthday.
