I just think that is amazing! I can hardly believe that two years has gone by. He has always been a big baby but doesn't he know that he needs to always be a baby? I love my little man. He has made Mark's and my life complete. I decided to start a new tradition of not doing a big party every year. Mark would eventually get bugged that I would inevitable need to make every year bigger and it would just madly spoil the kids. I new that I couldn't spend the money throwing the party that I wanted it to be and let's face it, would Scott know or care? No! So we simply told our neighbors we were having cup cakes and they came over to acknowledge Scott's day. Scott loves all his friends and he loved getting presents. Not so much opening them. He still doesn't get that part.
We finally got Scott a piggy bank. My friend got one for her son and they empty it every year on his birthday to his own savings account. So we got one with the same idea. We will give him all our change, he gets to put them in which helps his fine motor skills and we will put it in his savings. It's a start.
All tuckered out after his big day. Happy Birthday Scott.
