Happy Halloween

Halloween is one of my very favorite days of the year.
For about a month I get to be Gothic spooky.
And you gt free candy.
I love it.
This year Scott would actually be able to do what kids do on Halloween.
Last year he couldn't talk, the year before that he couldn't walk, the year before that he was a month old.
Well this year he can walk and talk and nothing was going to stop us from having fun.
On Tuesday we headed back up to The Village for their Halloween party.
So great to see all of my and Scott's old friends.
He got to Trunk or Treat there and he did awesome.
It got me very hopeful for Halloween's door to door Trick or Treating.
Well getting his costume on was NOT fun at all.
And it took him about a block to understand what to do and how things worked.
But when he finally got it, it was AWESOME!
Being a parent with a Trick or Treater is way better then Trick or Treating as a kid.
I'd say this has got to be my FAVORITE Halloween EVER!
When I was a kid being a pirate was my favorite costume.
my second favorite was being a 50's girl.
Since we were a 50's family last year I had to go with the pirate this year.
I love sewing costumes.
It's probably my very favorite sewing project.
 Scott turning from the flash.
So excited to go to the next house.
He didn't always say trick or treat but he almost always said thank you after he got the candy.
Sometimes he has good manners. :)
Even though he knows his numbers and what more means he didn't understand why people told him he could have more then one.
When he went to one house they told him he could have two.
H grabbed one.
They told him to pick another so he dropped the first one and picked another.
Don't worry, when this happened I stepped in a made sure he got the right amount. :)
We went to Alpine with Sarah and Luke's families in my parents neighborhood.
I was great!
Happy Halloween ya'll.
