Mark and I have had one of those weekends that don’t come around very often.
Nothing too event full.
We got dinner to go on Friday and rented a movie.
He set his computer down and we got to just be together.
On Saturday Mark went to play paintball and only got hit three times (he played over 20 games, so that’s really good).
I spent the morning sewing; life doesn’t get much better for both of us.
But the best part was that when Mark came home he didn’t crash or jump on the computer.
He just hung out with me.
We spent time with the dog and laughed.
Today we went to church and enjoyed spirit.
It’s interesting how the spirit doesn’t warp happiness; it simply makes it deeper and longer lasting, so long as the happiness is built on something good and pure.
We came home and took a good nap and woke up to a wonderful gift from our neighbors.
They bought over a big bag of veggies from their garden.
Mark loves veggies so we made a yummy vegetarian meal together; he seems to make cooking so fun and easy.
Now we’re just hanging out and watching the amazing Planet Earth.
We seem so granola and lazy but we deserve it.
Mark leaves tomorrow on his first business trip to Texas.
He’ll be gone for 2 weeks and this will be the longest we have ever been separated.
I’ve been having a hard time dealing with him leaving.
I’m such a scaredy cat but I have many friends who will try to keep me occupied and feel safe.
Funny how I need a lot of people to do what my Mark can do so easily.
I guess all this to say that I love being married.

What will you do for two weeks? I have a heart attack if Luke is gone for two days :) Glad you got to spend some "quality time" with your hubby before he leaves though! You can always call or come down. I am just at home everyday waiting for this dang baby to come. Luv ya!!
