We all got in the car, he loves to go for car rides. We let him have the windows open so he could stick his head out. He didn’t try to make a run for it like in Marly and Me but he has tried before on one of red box outings. He didn’t know where we were but he sure showed those other dogs who’s boss by barking like crazy at them. Then it came time to leave and we handed the leash over to the vet. Eddie looked at us so sad like and braised himself so much that the vet had to pick him up, he couldn’t even drag him. It was so sad. We were supposed to pick him up that same day at about 5 and Mark was so bummed out cause he had to leave for a camping trip at 4. But the vet called me at 3 and said he was ready to go. So I went to pick him up. He was so loopy and I could tell he didn’t like that place when he peed in the middle of the floor. It’s so sad but our dog has a really bad licking problem. He did before the surgery anyway, so I had to get him the cone so he wouldn’t mess up his stitches. When I brought him home Mark was so happy to see him before he left. They are such best friends.
Eddie has been healing nicely we believe and we are happy to report he is a little calmer. Not too much though. Mark goes around calling him cone face and Eddie just follows us around with his head down. Mark just laughs at him like guys do to their friends. We love our Eddie but for all of you who have met him know, he really shouldn’t be allowed to reproduce. Sad but true. He’s our sweet A.D.D. puppy.
