Minnesota

Mark and I got to go to Minnesota this past weekend for our new nieces blessing.
We had such a great time.
But we were silly enough to drive there.
We thought it would only be about 18 hours.
But do you think we thought about the weather?
No, why would we, it’s only winter, and we’re only traveling to a place that gets colder in the winter then Alaska.
Well it took us a bit longer then even the 18 hours we thought.
We left after work on Wednesday and we drove through the night and got there Thursday afternoon.
The weather got really bad and Mark drove most the way.
When we got there we had a great time with the kids.
Mark was so sweet with the kids.
Why is it that girls melt every time they see a grown man playing with kids?
 So cute!
We also had the best time visiting with Mark’s brother, Ryan and his wife Katie.
Mark’s parents also came along.
We got to play some fun games and tell some great stories.
We even got to go to Mall of America.
It was such a great trip.
Then we had to drive home.
I’ll just say that didn’t take 18 hours either.
Oh well.
We were so happy to get home to our beds, but most of all to see our sweet Eddie dog.
He was so excited, you think you get a welcome to our house from Eddie, I’m telling you, you’ve seen nothing.
We just wanted to tell Ryan and Katie thank you so much for giving us such a great vacation and making all the driving worth it.
Can’t wait to see you all again.

What part of Minnesota? My hubby is from Minnesota, a little town called Balaton in the south west corner of Minnesota. I've made that 18 hour drive a handful of times and I hate it every time!

I dyed the water with "tub tints." You can find them in the baby section of most stores. Kids LOVE them. Oh, I lost your phone number, would you mind e-mailing it to me and then I'll give you a call.
