We are remodeling another bathroom. We had our first go at a remodel last summer with the bathroom in our basement. It was a huge ordeal. And wow! It didn’t even take a full year for us to forget how hard it was. So here we are. Now it’s an even bigger project and even more important because it’s our master bathroom. For those of you who don’t watch HGTV all the time like I do, master bathrooms SELL homes. We’ve ripped out the old tile and rug (who puts white carpet in a bathroom anyway) and found some unexpected things. Well the wood under the rug had water marks, wait you mean the water soaks into the rug, weird. We also found out that the previous owners backed the toilet up a few times, nice surprise. If I can teach anyone a lesson about "do it yourself" remodels, estimate how long you think it will take, then times that by 10. But hey, you can save yourself a little bit of money. We are hoping to get it done in the next week. So I guess that means that I'll show you the finished product in about four months.
