Baby Shower

On August 1st my sisters threw me a baby shower. It was so nice and fun. They really went all out. I was actually quite nervous just because I don't feel very confident in large crowds. I like having one on one time with people and I was afraid that people would get offended if I didn't spend enough time with them. I tried hard so I hope I did OK. My niece was my great photographer so enjoy the pics.

This is the beautiful table of yumminess that my sisters put together. My baby's theme is Jungle and they did an awesome job of making the showers theme that as well. Here's everyone sitting around visiting. That table you see in the center there, those are all my presents. Hurrah for presents!
This ugly picture is me about to put ANOTHER piece of gum in my mouth. Sarah asked Mark questions about me and the baby and I got maybe 3 right. He gives me all the teasing answers about how we're going to raise the baby, he gave her all the nice and good answers. Eventually everyone felt sorry for me and I didn't have to keep putting them in my mouth. Here I am opening up present from people. I got so much awesome stuff. Thank you everyone that came and for giving me so much. I know kids but I know nothing about infants and all they will need. I got things from people that I never would have thought of but I know that I wont be able to live without.
These are my old room mates from USU that I was living with while Mark and I were dating and engaged. It's so crazy how time flys by.

Here is my perfect nephew, Jaren. My sister-in-law from California was able to come and we all flipped out to see Jaren growing so much without us. Mark and I hope our baby will look so cute. He reminds me of a baseball player for some reason.
Here is Maia. She is still so sweet and tiny. This is what she is always doing. I pray my baby will take after Mark and sleep all the time like this. Sleeping baby makes for a happy mommy I think.

My sister Sarah made this for me. I don't remember if it's a diaper cake or diaper tower, either way it's so flippin cute. Everyone needs one of these at their showers.

This is the amazing chair I got from my mother-in-law, Cynthia. Mark and I are breaking it in before the baby gets here so it will be nice and comfy for my late night feedings. I can't say that I'm looking forward to the late night part but I'm so excited to rock my little boy to sleep in it.

This is the stroller my mom got for me. She let me pick it out. I tried to get one that was of course safe but also one that would be gender neutral and one that Mark wouldn't mind pushing. The more things I can make less girly for him, the more things I'll be able to get him to do.

This is the adorable Presley that I've been wanting to meet for so long. She is the daughter of my old room mate from Snow, Brandi and her annoying husband, Roudy ;) She drove all the way up from St. George for my shower and stayed with us that weekend. Presley loves puppies and it was so great seeing her torment our Eddie. We've been nervous about how he's going to be with the baby and Presley really helped to humble him. This is her stealing Eddies bed. Too cute!

I am so sad I couldn't be there :( it looks like it was fun, you got a lot of great stuff and it is so darling. I also love your house!! the drapes in the kitchen look fabulous and the living room looks great as well. Also, I love your hair blonde or brown, you can pull off both! I want to try blonde hair, wish Dan liked it. You are lucky Mark likes it either way. Anyway, miss you!
