Girl Friends

Last Friday, my old room mate and wonderful friend Jessica got married. Mark and I were so thrilled when we got our invite to be able to be there in the temple with her when they got married. She and I lived together while going to school in Logan and while Mark and I were dating and while we got engaged. She and I would talk all the time about when we would one day get married and what we wanted out of life. It was so amazing to be able to see her on this very happy day that we had talked about so much.

The next day I got to take the day off from being a mom and go back to when I was 20 to hang out with my room mates from Snow College. Brandi came up from St. George and Jill took time out of her doctorite studies to go to a movie, have lunch, and go shopping. I just love these girls. I got a rude awakening with these girls of the cruelty of life and college and boys while living with these girls, with their help I learned to laugh most the way through it.

Here we are abou to go shopping at the Gateway. I hadn't been in a while, I can't tell you how excited I was.

It was an amazing weekend. I haven't had girl time in so long. It felt so wonderful to just have my girls all around me again. At times I felt like no time had passed. When I came back to Mark and Scott that night I felt completely refreshed and excited to be with my boys again. I can't wait to see my girls again but we'll come down to St. George next time Brand.
