Ellis Bear Lake Trip

The Ellis Clan went to Bear Lake this past weekend.
It was such a great trip.
Mark's brother, Ryan, and his family came down from Minnesota to come even.
The kids being there really helped to bring out the kid in all of us.
It was so much fun.
Mark and I needed to get away and this couldn't have been better.
Ok, maybe it could have been longer, that's the only thing that could have made it better.
Here are some pic.s.

We started the trip at LaBou's for some hamburgers and raspberry shakes.
It's an Ellis Family must apparently.
Here's James, Caden and Kylee.

You have no idea how hard it is to get Jon to smile.
I can't even remember how I did it because I was trying for so long that when it came, I didn't think, I just snapped.

Cynthia, Kylee and Brooke.
Cynthia wasn't feeling well so she ended her vacation early but the kids had a lot of fun with her while she was there.

My boys.
So hansom!

Mark and I going out on the jet ski.
It was my first time.
It was so scary at first.
We were going so fast and all I could think about was how bad it would hurt if I fell off.
But after a while I loosened up and even drove a bit.
I must say it's less scary when you're the one driving.

Ryan, Caden, and Mark just getting off the jet ski.
Isn't Mark's biker tan awesome?

Everyone at Pickleville Play House.
We saw Bandito Rides Again.
It was so funny.
I love that place.

He's just such a hottie.
Love this man.

Caden and Kylee at Pickleville.
This was before it started and the twins were still in a good mood.
The play went a little into their bed time.

If you're wondering what these faces mean, it's pure bliss.
Vacations are the best.

Scott got sick the day before we left and didn't have the best of times.
He had a hard time sleeping one night and then really made up for it the next day.
As hard as he was, I still can't help but see how cute he is.
So peaceful here.

This water was so cold.
I got Caden to turn around to take a picture but he couldn't hide how cold he was.
Still a cute kid.

These very nice people were packing up and leaving on Saturday and gave us their floaty toys and sand toys.
Brooke Z loved them.
She would try to get anyone and everyone to pull her around on it.
Love seeing that girl smile.

Just a few pictures of my boys.
Scott didn't get to be out in the sun till the last day and so we tried to make up it.
He is such a chunky monkey.
Look at those moods.
I love it.

Jon looking a little creepy at the lake.
There's EVERYONE in their swim suits and then there's Jon in a jacket, pants and ball cap.
WOW!
He just loves to wear his jacket even when it's 90+ degrees outside.
I promise he wasn't a predator or anything.

We got to bury Caden in the sand.
That's right I said SAND.
I FINALLY found a sandy beach it Utah.
The sand isn't nearly as fine as California sand but I can't get too picky.

Scott loves to swim.
He was asleep during all of our swimming times (which is why we went) but he woke up at the tail end of our last one so I brought him in the hot tub (which wasn't super hot, don't worry).
He loved it.
He loves to splash with his hands and loves to kick.
He sticks his head in the water over and over again.
He just loves the water.
He cry's when we get out of the shower even.

We went to a yummy pizza place on our way out of town.
The kids got their shake and they were happy.
A very loud shout out to Mark's dad, Clair, for taking us.
We had a Great time and will remember this trip for a long time.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
