Ok so he's been 9 months for awhile but we just had his 9 month appointment. He is such a flirt. He smiles and giggles at every girl he sees and if that girl has a baby with them he starts doing his happy excited dance. We have the best time everyday hanging out and discovering new things.
He loves to scoot around and I think he'll be officially crawling in just a few days.
He is obsessed with trying to climb up the stairs. I can put every toy in front of him to try to distract him but it doesn't matter. He leaves them all behind and goes strait for the stairs.
He also loves the shower and the bath. He could stay in there all day if I let him. He splashes with his hands, kicks like crazy with his feet, he'll dunk his face in, drink the water, stick his hand out and just feel the shower water on his arm. He laughs so hard in the water.
He also loves to play with Eddie. He loves Eddies toys and we have to watch to make sure Eddie doesn't bring any in his play area. If he does then Scott will stop whatever he is doing and scoot over to it as fast as he can and get the toy, he even leaves the stairs for Eddies toys. If Eddie has his toy and is chewing on it in Scott's play area then Scott will go strait for Eddie and try to take it from him. Eddie doesn't want Scott to take the toy so he gets up and moves somewhere else to chew on his toy. So Scott just chases Eddie around the room trying to get his toys.
Eddie also loves his Scott. He will go curl up next to him and Scott thinks that is a game too. He will grab his hair and laugh. He will kick him and laugh. He will hit him and laugh more. Eddie just sits there and takes it. Eddie knows that we will hurt him if he does anything to Scott so he doesn't. I think that Eddie loves Scott despite all of Scott's torture tactics.
Scott is a great sleeper and a great eater. He got a little sick a week ago which through him off a bit but he is doing fine now and back to his old good habits.
He also loves his mom and dad (his mama most of all though ;)). When he gets tired and needs attention he will scoot over to me and try to crawl up me kinda fussing along the way. It can be hard sometimes but then I remember that he's just sad and wants his mom and that that's me. I love being his mom. He is just the most amazing little boy and I am lucky enough to get to take care of him.
I got a new box of clothes from my sister in law who had my nephew Jaren almost a year before I had Scott. So I was going through Scott's old clothes to see what still fit him and what doesn't anymore. Oh WOW has my baby boy grown up. He's becoming more of a little boy and less and less like my little baby boy.
Here are his stat's at 9 months.
He is 29.75 inches long - 88%
21.38 lbs - 61%
His head is 18.7 inches around - 95%
Everyone who sees him says how big he is. I think it is his head that in the reason for this comment. He has a bold big head that makes his body look bigger then it is and makes him look younger then he is. Oh well, he's the cutest big baby ever I think. ;)

That is so funny. Carter and Scott are almost on the money with the same measurements! Carter just weighs more and is 3/4 of an inch smaller in length. How crazy is that?
Big heads are good Presley's Head was always in the 90th percentile.
