I love living in Utah.
Every now and again I think it would be nice to live somewhere else but I can't deny that Utah just feels like home.
One of the biggest reasons I love being in Utah is how close we always are to the temples.
In Salt Lake we are just a half hour away from three or four temples.
We have never done a session in the Salt Lake Temple because it's always so crowded so we usually go to the South Jordon Temple.
But we got the treat to go to the Temple Square Chapel instead of our normal meetings.
The key speaker was Elder Ballard which is again another reason why I love being in Utah.
When we have these run ins with these amazing men, life is good.
He gave a great talk about getting through this stage in our lives.
To enjoy the challenges we have now because these times will be some of the best times of our lives.
It was wonderful to get this reminder.
He also talked about the importance of praying at night together as a couple.
Mark and I are usually pretty good about this but he said something that has stayed with me.
He said we should pray for each other in these prayers.
I pray for Mark in my personal prayers but not together.
Mark and I have both started to pray for each other and it is so nice.
Mark has had a problem of zoning me out.
Or rather I thought it was a problem, he's been working on it and it means so much to me to hear him pray for me in problems that I didn't know he knew about.
This simple thing has helped us so much.
I am so grateful for my sweet Mark and Scott:
And for our eternal family:
Oh and did I mention Scott?
Oh well, He needs to be thanked twice.
This kid is so cute!:
Ok, maybe thrice.
I just can't believe how amazing this kid is.
He has Mark and I wrapped around his finger.
Can you see how he does it?
Love this kid.
