Good Bye Good Friend

For the past year we have been living in the village.  One of the first people I met was Kelsie.  I would look out my window to see if (a)the weather was nice and (b) no one was at the swings.  If these two things were met then I would take Scott outside.  I really didn't want to meet anyone at this new place, I was kinda going through a depressed time at first.  Well one of few times Scott and I went outside those first few weeks someone came over to the swings after we came out.  That would be Kelsie and her little girl Keni.  Kelse was blond then, I was a brunet.  She started talking to me and we had some in common but I was kinda nervous about meeting people still so I let Scott through a fit and we excused ourselves.  A little while later I was walking to the mail box and this brunet starts talking to me, I really didn't realize it was Kelsie.  I was in a much better mood then so I just went along with letting this girl think she knew me.  But after that Kelsie and I started doing everything together.  I had a friend.  She also helped me get the Quiet Book going.  She just as excited about it as I was.  She spread the word and got Melissa to join in our little craft club.  I realize now that she must have worked magic because Melissa is a home body who doesn't like crafts and likes to get other people to do things for her.  For a long time it was just us three, well us six since we each had kids that were all the same age.  We became as close as room mates, staying up late playing Dr Mario, sewing, laughing, eating too much junk food, complaining about our husbands school schedules, grocery shopping, clothes shopping, trips to the zoo every week, lounging outside tanning, Orange Julius nights... all good times.
Well Kelse is off to Preston Idaho for her husband to finish up his PA.  We went out to Red Robin one last time to send her off.  She will come and visit us and I will come to see her since Logan is so close. Good bye dear friend, Thank you for coming to the swings.
