Scott's Hike with Dad

Scott and I decided to take a short hike up at the top of Emigration Canyon (Little Mountain). This was Scott's first real hike and he loved it! Well, he loved going away from the car, but not so much the trip back.

Here we are at the beginning of the trail. He loved seeing the reservoir!

Trying to get Scott to smile for the camera, but something else was obviously much more interesting.

Here's the Scotty boy checking out something fascinating while heading up the steep climb at the trailhead.

Who cares about the view? This juice is fantastic!

Further down the trail. This kid walked a long ways!

Checking out the amazing scenery and playing with the grass.

Scott became upset when I told him it was time to turn around and head back to the car. I'm pretty sure he wanted to run all the way down to the reservoir and was disappointed that I wouldn't let him. So, I got a nice workout carrying this hefty guy most of the way back down the mountain. Here he is in silent protest.

All things considered, Scott loved being out on the trail and we had a great time! We're already looking forward to our next adventure!

What a great time! You have inspired me to want to take my boys to do that.
