This is my kitchen.
I now have counter space and cupboard space.
I hate for things to be so stuffed in cupboards that you have to take things out to get what you need.
I don't have to do that any more.
I even have empty cupboards and drawers.
2
This is a Pantry.
Not only did I have less then half the cupboard space I do now but I also had to fit the food in that cupboard space.
Now we have a pantry to hold food.
We used to have to store food and our food storage in Scott's closet.
Now I can fit all the food AND the food storage in this nice large cupboard.
3
This is a storage closet.
All this came from my closet, Mark's closet and Scott's closet.
It's not the biggest storage space but I am in heaven having it.
4
Light and space.
There is so much room in here.
Scott runs the length of it sometime with his bursts of energy.
Even though we're in a basement the light is really great, better then our last place that wasn't a basement.
I love having windows that don't go from ceiling to floor.
5
Weird picture, yes but this is amazing to have.
Carpet!
Before we had orange felt carpet tiles.
Scott got many a bruise falling onto it.
It was pretty much a very small up grade from falling on cement.
I love the feel of it and I love that the color is neutral yet dark.
I also love the hard floor.
I think it's laminate tiles but still it is so much better looking then what we used to have.

We still only have one bathroom.
I guess one downer of the place is that we don't have a bath tub any more.
But the shower is quite nice and the shower head comes off which is very nice.
The thing that I wanted to brag about though is the size of the bathroom and the counter top.
Our last bathroom was very small, very gross, and had a pedestal sink.
This meant NO where to set things.
For getting ready and also for storing things.
It is still one bathroom but I feel like a queen in this bathroom compared to my last.
This is still part of 6.
I now have a closet in the bathroom.
Going from clear plastic drawers that were stuffed brim full to having a cupboard and drawers on a vanity is amazing.
But also having a closet to store towels and cleaning supplies is a luxury.
I even have room to have extra cleaning supplies.

This top ten list is in no specific order because everything on this list should be at the top of the list.
This is no exception.
I now have a washer and a FULL size dryer RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER!
Before we had a washer right outside the bathroom.
For the majority of the time living in the village we had to dry our clothes in the laundry room dryers.
Then a few months before we moved we ended up buying a dryer from a friend.
But there wasn't an outlet for a normal 220 dryer so you had to have a 110 dryer which took FOREVER to dry things.
I also had to be one of the bedrooms.
I was very happy when I got a dryer in the apartment, it was a lot better then carrying wet clothes out to the laundry room.
While living there I forgot what it was like to have a normal set up.
I LOVE having a normal set up.
Most the time my dryer finishes before my washer is done.
Oh what a feelin.

Next is my walk in closet.
It is so nice having mine and Mark's clothes in the same closet again.
We have room to store so much.
Thing is I wouldn't say this is very big for walk in closets, but to us it's so spacious.
9
This is our room.
It's not put together yet but that's not the point.
It is so big.
It's probably as big as our living, kitchen and dining area in our last place.
We don't even know how to fill such a big room.
I don't care.
I love looking at all the empty open space before I go to bed.
10
Lastly, our fire place.
We didn't even have a fire place in our house so this really is an upgrade.
I'm so excited to use it this winter.
I love having a mantel to put decor on.
I just love fireplaces!
I love living here.
I love that Scott is happy here.
I love living in South Jordan.
The shopping is great here too.
It's pretty far from I-15 but I rarely ever need to go out there so I don't care.
If any of my Village friends are reading this then they are salivating with jealousy.
We love life here and I know this is where we are supposed to be.
