Here are some pictures of our sad basement bathroom. When we bought the house we thought all we needed to do was tile and put the fixures in. But, little did we know, the reason it wasn't finished was because the previous owners didn't know what they were doing. So what did we need to do? Well, we knocked down a wall, moved the shower faucet, bought all the fixtures, tiled the floor, removed all the dry wall in the shower, and built the lip for the shower. Writing it all down makes it seem easier then it really was. We had to do so much problem solving every step of the way. It seems every time we want to take one step forward we have to take twelve steps back. We still have so much more to do. We are learning for ourselves the drama with doing home construction ourselves. We hope to have it done by next weekend, in time for our house warming party, we'll see if it happens. We've given it about 15 finish dates, what's one more.
