When Mark and I were dating, we always went out. At least twice a week we went out on an official date. We were together every day of the week but we would still go out on nice and fun dates. Mark was always so cute about it too. He would look around the room and turn to me and say that we were the cutest couple there. So sweet!
Well, after we got married... let's just say we weren't dating as much. It turns out that Mark is not only very traditional but very frugal as well. He wanted me to start cooking him food to save us money, and after all, a woman shouldn't step out of the kitchen very often, right? Well he should have known that I'm not like most women. Infact I hate cooking even more then he hates to spend money. But we just came up with a happy compromise. I cook actual meals three times a week and he takes me out on a date once a week.
After a week things have worked well. I've made quiche (including the pie crust), my sister came over to hang out and decided to make dinner and since she used my ingredients I'm counting that as another, and tonight I make lasagna. We went out with Marks Brother, James and his girlfriend Shannon last week to kick it off and things should work well.

Caroline! This is Lindsey Durrant aka. Walker! I hope you dont mind I blogger stocked you. I saw your name on Dan and Lindseys page. Anyhow. I hope you are well. You two are such a cute couple! Congrats on the marrigae and all. I just had to tell you that I can sympathize with you about the cooking thing and especially with your husband being frugal. My Mark is an accountant also and he invented the word frugal. LOL
You are such a good wife, to try to cook for your husband. But date night is a MUST!! Every marriage needs date night. Mark is a good husband to take you out. Oh and by the way, I have been trying to fix your back ground and it is not working, I am still trying to get it to work though.
Ok, i don't know why I can't change this dang background for you! It's so weird, usually I canget it to work.
