I'm done putting our house in! It took about four weeks but everything has a place and at this exact moment in time pretty much everything is in that spot. This place is probably the cleanest it will ever be. I took pictures to document it. Just remember that the camera makes things look bigger then they really are.
This is our front room. We walk in where you see that brown slit on the right. There is also a closet when you first walk in behind that black console talk, I shall show you that in a bit. I plan to stain the tv center but you know me, that will be quite some time from now. Right in the center of that window wall is the table with my sewing machine. It isn't normally there but since I plan on sewing for the rest of the week I left it.
This is the south wall. Like I said there is a closet behind the console table and a bathroom behind the big cupboard. You can also see the light fixture which is the only one for the living room. I can open up the blinds to let light in during the day but it gets pretty dark and dingy looking at night. We're in the basement and our massive window looks on to the court yard where all the kids play and the grown ups gather. I don't really like to open the blinds much because then my whole life is visible. We have an extra lamp in the room which helps but not much.
This is the north wall. Behind it are my neighbors. Are you starting to notice how close everything is? How pretty much every inch of the walls are covered by furniture? It gets better just keep lookin. And by better I mean smaller.
This is my kitchen. "But Caroline, where is the counter space, where are the cupboards, where is the dishwasher?" Well what you see is what you get. Not a whole lot of space to put things which is why I have all these mix match cupboards added to. I want to paint the big cupboard black so it will kind of match the table and small cupboard. We'll see when that one gets done. That door you see in the left corner is the master suite but before that there is a small hall way to take us to the bathroom, the laundry room and Scott's room.

This is our master suite. Isn't it so great. You can see my wonderful new bed set. I'm in love with it. I love the way it looks with my rose. Home isn't home without my rose. to the right is the closet which is probably the only thing in this place that is a decent size and has built in storage. I'm not showing you my closet though. It is organized though I promise.
This is the other half of our room. Just enough room to fit a tv and hamper. Scott found his way into this picture. Cutest part of this apartment is him. If he's gone then it sucks even more then before.
Here's Scott's room. Yes I know there are two bikes in the room. That is their spot in the house. Scott and Mark have to share a room. It's kind of all our room since I filled the closet with all my stuff.
This is the other half of Scott's room. Only enough space to put his chest of drawers and Mark's bike gear. I don't know if you have noticed that there is pretty much only two usable walls in the room. One of the walls is the closet which is two huge sliding doors that covers the entire wall. And the other is for a window. The entire top portion of the walls is the window. It's really lame and annoying to have such big windows and have the place still look so dark. I couldn't get half of his pictures up because of the window.
This is our laundry room. There is going to be a shelf or two above the washer but I keep forgetting L brackets at the store. We aren't going to get a drier because it's extra every month to have on and we would have to put it in Scott's room. This is parked right outside Scott's room and so I have to wait to wash when he's not napping. If we had a drier it we be even harder. There is a laundry room on site and a bunch of lines to line dry in and outside. Not having having a drier is the least of my issues with this place.
This is the view of the bathroom from in the tub.

This is the view from the door way. I love how the put a pedestal sink in in here. It's as if they thought, "Storage in a bathroom? What fer? They will have plenty of room if we put a wall mounted sink and a rod above the toilet. If they are hoarders we'll put the cabinet mirror in, that will make them happy." And people wonder why construction workers stink all the time, it's because they didn't put room in their houses for soap.

And finally this is my new sewing room. It's a closet I know but it's mine. Believe it or not it's organized. I know where everything is in there. I know what you're thinking, "Caroline, you call yourself a seamstress? HA! this is pathetic. You have nothing on hand. Do you own any fabric at all?" I know, I know. I hardly have anything. That is in THERE. Like I said I have Scott's closet FULL of stuff. Don't worry. I didn't get rid of my fabric and craft supplies. It's just spread out through the apartment.
So this is our little piece of Heaven. Don't you all jump at the chance to live here at once. Now that it's all in and clean I'm finding that it's not so bad living here. I think I only scream in my head that I hate living here three to five times a week instead of every milisecond of the day. It's only two years right?
