Mark was waiting for Traxx in front of his work in down town.
Ten minutes after it was supposed to be there he gave up waiting and decided to ride the whole way up the hill home.
He had his road bike, you know the super expensive one...Yeah!
As he was passing the stadium he approaches an intersection.
He is going with traffic and thus gets to go.
There is a car that wants to turn left onto the street Mark is on but it stopped before the bike lane which NO ONE does so he figures that he has seen Mark.
Well apparently not.
Right when Mark was passing the car was when the car decided to make his left turn.
Then...
BAM!
Mark got hit.
It wasn't too bad of an accident.
He was able to walk away from it with just a small limp.
He called me had had me pick him and his hurt bike up.
I think that's what has made him the most mad was his bike being messed up.
Like I said it was his road bike and in a way I'm glad because if it was his cheap one he wouldn't be getting much to fix it.
The police man tried to tell him that he couldn't write up a report on it unless the damages were over $1500.
We're pretty sure this isn't right but all the same, I'm glad his bike was worth more then that and that Mark stood up for his bike and forced the cop the write it up.
Like I said he really wasn't that hurt but he wanted his battle wounds photographed for the record.
Sorry for the immodesty.
The pic doesn't show it well but all those pink splotches turned into big ugly purple bruises.
I always forgot they were there and hurt him a lot over the next few days trying to cuddle with him.
Oops!
Scratches all over his legs.
Poor boy.
We're glad you're safe honey.
I'm so sick of all the stupid car drama.
