It's been almost ten years now.
I was a freshman in college coming home for Thanksgiving break and so excited.
I get home and all my little sister can think and talk about is the Harry Potter movie.
I couldn't stand Harry Potter.
I thought it was so lame how people my own age and older were reading children's books.
Kate REALLY wanted to go to see the movie.
All her friends went the night before to the midnight showing but my dad would let Kate.
She wasn't even twelve yet.
So, since I was in such a good mood and since Kate has always had me wrapped around her finger we went.
After that I was hooked.
She got me there and after that I went home and I started reading the books.
We've been to all the movies together.
This last movie was kinda a big deal, IT'S THE LAST ONE!
So we got our tickets at our favorite Jordan Commons for the midnight showing (not eleven anymore hu dad)
Well I decided to make a day and night out of it.
Since the movie was Friday morning Mark still had work and I still had Scott.
We went to my mom's house Thursday and went to the splash park with Maia.
Scott didn't nap that day so he was a bit of a crank bum.
He needed some help enjoying the water that day.
Cranky but happy
Look at that place.
The layout of fun is what that is.
He finally caught onto the wet and wild fun of it all.
Him snuggling up to Kate.
He hardly snuggles with me like he does with Kate.
We went to dinner at a pizza place for a celebration of Sarah's birthday.
A little secret that is so naughty of me, Scott was so tired and cranky but it was already 6 o'clock so he had to stay awake till bed time.
So I gave him some Dr. Pepper to help wake him up.
A bit of an experiment.
Do you think it worked?
Here's the Maia.
She is so fun to hang out with and loves her cousin.
If only Scott would talk back with her.
All of us girls.
We are so cute.
I love my sisters.
Alright, let the night begin.
At the movie waiting to get in is always so much fun.
I love going to opening night of the cult movies, it brings out all the freaks.
I mean that nicely.
My favorite costume was of Voldemort, most realistic I've ever seen.
I felt lame taking a pic of people I didn't know so sorry, no pic.
We did 3D and the glasses were Harry Potter ones.
We're supposed to recycle them after the movie but, umm, NO.
I paid two extra bucks to see it in 3D, I'm keeping the glasses.
It was the best out of all the Harry Potter movies and I loved every minute of it.
I'm so glad I got to go with my Kate.
Thanks for getting me hooked K.
