Scott and I got invited to go to the Living Planet Aquarium with my sister in law, April and her kiddos.
We were so excited to go play with Jaren and Avery and see if we could find Nemo.
Scott LOVED it!
He was running from tank to tank pointing out all the fish and other animals.
My camera's not great anyway but with glass and water, sorry, bare with me.
The shark was circling the tank, pretty sure he could smell McEvoy's around.
Scott seeing the turtle.
This might be his favorite sea animal.
The elusive eel.
We were very lucky to see this gross guy.
I think I would freak out if I saw this in the water with me.
These were in the South American exhibit which came a couple years ago with the anaconda.
I do NOT like this exhibit but the kids though it was awesome.
Again in the S.A. part, this tarantula.
These don't freak me out as much, maybe it's growing up in front of a mountain.
It's the tiny spiders that freak me out.
I'm shivering now thinking about them.
Now you may wonder, as Mark did, why I don't have a picture of the anaconda.
This is because snakes are probably my biggest fear in the animal kingdom.
I let April keep an eye on Scott around those tanks.
Here are the kids in front of the penguin tank, new this year.
I don't love penguins but this was pretty cool.
The kids loved it.
Look at that cute button.
She is adorable.
The penguin.
I'm pretty proud of my camera with this shot.
Here is Jaren.
Not quite an Emperor Penguin but getting close.
I tried to get a shot of Scott next to it.
I told him to stand next to the penguin and he did but right then this other older kid stepped right in front of him and told me that he was the same size as the penguin.
I was kind of a brat and told the kid to move so I could take a pic of my son and he looked sad, I feel bad about that but right when he moved Scott did too and I lost my shot.
Oh well it was a great trip despite the crowds.
I love taking Scott to places like this and I love that he loves them.
