Christmas crept up on Mark and I so fast. We just weren't ready for it in so many ways. But it was still such a fun day. We spent it with my family in Alpine. My brother, Luke, and his family came from California to spend the holiday with us and having so many kids around just made the holiday so amazing. We stayed over on Christmas Eve so Christmas morning was perfect, us all waiting at the top of the stairs waiting to go down youngest to oldest again. Scott didn't understand opening presents again, maybe next year. He did enjoy his gifts which I was very happy about because I got such a great deal on all of them. But one thing that he started that day that he hasn't stopped doing since is walking. Now he has been walking for a while but I think he just loved all the open space at my parents house because he would grab one of his toys and just walk with it. If anyone got in his way or tried to play with him or give him attention he would through such a fit. We thought maybe he wasn't feeling well but really he just wanted to walk. He now walks back and forth in our apartment but it's not the same. It was a great Christmas with lots of food and lots of good company and conversation.

I just wish Scott got to have his Eddie dog all year long :(
